Nectarios is an exemplary host - if I could, I would easily award him 6 stars. The villa is smart, cozy, super comfortable, and superbly located. This region of Crete, at the very eastern tip of the island, is the Greece of your imagination: it's welcoming, traditional, and (still somehow) undiscovered. The secluded beaches, old fashioned tavernas are all lapped by the translucent gentle sea... even in autumn. This is a fantastic place for a leisurely family holiday, a romantic getaway, or a luxurious adventure well off the beaten path. Thousands come to vacation on Crete each year, but our stay with Nectarios was unique and unforgettable. We recommend him (and the apartments) most highly."

"The experience was amazing from the second you drove up the driveway and were greeted by the amazing well kept grounds and swimming pool. As you step into the apartment your welcomed with a beautiful fresh smell, lovely paintings and a well equipped kitchen. The amenities and personal touches made us feel at home. A great apartment in a wonderful location for exploring the North East of Crete. Nectarias was a fantastic host. He and his family were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We appreciated the personal greeting and tips on how to spend our week. He gave us some superb recommendations on where to eat, places to shop and sights to see. He couldn’t have been better. I highly recommend this apartment for the amenities, location and overall hospitality of the host, he went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best we’ve had. "Wow!! We have had the best vacation ever! Such a beautiful place, both the apartment the garden and the pool area! The apartment was clean and the beds were nice. The pool is large and nice for both kids and adults. Our two kids never wanted to go ut of the pool. There are nice confertable sunbeds around the pool. Nektarios the owner, allways had a smile around his face greeting us and wanting to give his guests the best holiday possible! Everyday we were served «cafe frappe», wine, beer, «Dakos», or fresh figs from his garden by the pool or at our balcony. The «Dakos» was made from Nektarios own tomatoes and olives! Beautiful! The best in all of Crete. Nektarios also gave us the best tips where to go for the nicest beaches, for a special hike to a beautiful waterfall we could swim in, nice restaurants and other areas of eastern Crete worth seeing. The area of Sitia is a calm area of Crete. If you want an authentic experience of Crete, dont hesitate to come here! We are going to miss this place, and Nektarios. We have nothing but nice things to say about him or his place!! Thank you Nektarios! We will be back"

"We have just had a fabulous 10 days at Oceanides Luxury Apartments and completely fallen in love with Eastern Crete. The property is a calm oasis and so beautifully maintained. Pool delightful and always sunbeds available plus a hammock and other shady spots to escape for a snooze or read..... The apartments are lovely with big bedrooms but kitchen rather small to cook in....not a problem as there are so many wonderful restaurants in Sitia! But the best part is certainly the Cretan hospitality....Nectarios and his family looked after us so well with top tips for where to visit and a cold frappe or wine in the late afternoon. They made us feel incredibly welcome and contributed to a great holiday experience. Must do's....Vai beach, Richtis Gorge, drive over mountains to Xerocampus beaches and coves. We will be back!"
